MOTOR-CAR RUNS AWAY

PLATE GLASS WINDOW BROKEN A motor-car. which was left parked outside the Lyric Theatre on the left side of Symonds Street last evening suddenly began to move, and after running a short distance -down the road, crossed the pavement and crashed through the large plate-glass window of a millinery shop, just below the theatre, owned by Mrs. Ada Chalcroft. No damage was caused to the stock in the shop window or to the vehicle. There were no occupants in the car at the time.
