RUGBY REFEREES MEET At the meeting of the Auckland Rugby Referees’ Association last evening. Mr. L. McDonald was elected a member, subject to passing the usual examination. Mr. C. S. Lonerhan. the president of , the Hawke's Bay Referees’ Association, was welcomed by the president. The social committee reported having mad*' tentative arrangements for the annual dinner on Saturday. October 5. Mr. P. Mackie read a paper on "How to Become a Successful Referee.
