FLOWERS AT WAIUKU
DAFFODIL SHOW From Our Own Correspondent WAIUKU, Saturday. The Methodist Church’s sale of work and daffodil show was held in the Public Hall, Waiuku, on Friday, when a good display of spring flowers was staged. The entries were a record, there being over 100 more than last year. Tho Rev. W. S. Neal read a telegram from Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P., who regretted being unable to be present. Mr. Neal commented on the excellent blooms staged and thanked those who had. helped to make the show such a success. The judge, Mr. H. B, J. Bull, commented on the excellent quality of many of the blooms, and remarked that the double daffodil exhibited by Mrs. F. J. Bregmen was worthy of being exhibited in any show in the world.
