Weekly Dance
A MERRY GATHERING AKARANA YACHT CLUB The Akarana Yacht Club held its weekly dance in the clubhouse on Saturday, a large number of dancers enjoying the splendid music provided by Stacey’s Revellers. Members of the committee present were:—Mrs. L. Heard, who wore patterned crepe de chine; Mrs. F. Jeffers, navy blue crepe fleuri: Mrs. G. Miller, cedar rose crepe de chine; Mrs. E. B. "Webster, honey-beige silk; Miss Ratcliffe, flame satin and gold lace. Members and friends included: Miss M. Andrew, who wore lido blue crepe de chine; Miss Broadhurst, applegreen crepe de chine and georgette; Miss Bedford, blue crepe de chine; Miss T. Crouch, cameo-pink crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss J. Collier, green crepe de chine; Miss M. McKenzie, pow-der-blue georgette; Miss M. Nicholson, blue crepe de chine. Miss C. Petersen, who wore pink tissue and crepe de chine; Miss R. Poole, green satin; Miss Penny, cherry georgette and silver lace; Miss R. Quirke, black taffeta; Miss V. Osmond, lemon taffeta and silver; Miss Roundell, ivory georgette; Miss M. Shute, pink crepe de chine: Miss Sigley, pink crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss R. .Smith, pink georgette and lace; Miss Sayers, sea-green taffeta and silver; Miss K. Sayers, black georgette and silver; Miss V. Stubbing, blue crepe de chine and lace; Miss L. Short, rose georgette and diamente. Miss B. Chant, in leaf-green georgette and silver; Miss V. Davison, green crepe de chine and lace: Miss P. Dyer, apricot crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss G. x Dell, apple-green georgette and flowered lame; Miss G. Falconer, blue a«d silver brocade; Miss Gates, blue crepe de chine; Miss Gallagher, pink and white net; Miss Hine, mauve crepe de chine; Miss I. Hatton, green satin; Miss F. Homan, in saracen red georgette; Miss E. Lethbridge, cameo georgette and silver lace; Miss Larkins, black crepe de chine and georgette: Miss K. Lynch, gold satin; Miss J.
