ORPHANS MEET

ADDRESS AT DEVONPORT CLUB The session of the Devonport Crphans’ Club on Saturday evening listened to an address by the president, Mr. E. Aldridge, on “Th© Vitamines of Man.” The chairman was officially installed by vice-president A. V. Praer, this being the last of the general entertainments of the club. Visitors included Messrs. P. Howden and Maxwell Walker, of the Auckland Club. A smart concert programme was supplied by the club band under Mr. Trevor de Clive-Lowe, and Messrs. Flood, S. Pritchard, P. Campbell, Hugh Woods, Hartman, Moody and Liscombe. The Crawford Appeal realised £6 17s 6d.
