WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
WAIOTAIII BRANCH MEETS
The monthly meeting of the Waiotahi Women's Institute resulted in a most enjoyable afternoon being spent by almost a full attendance of members. Mrs. Toone gave a demonstration of a special method of making lemon marmalade. The game of the afternoon was musical parcels. Mr. Rowe then gave an interesting address on his recent trip to Australia, and received a vote of thanks for his instructive talk. A boomerang ■which J■ Rowe displayed, caused considerable interest, as did a tray of mulga wood. During the afternoon it was decided to open a correspondence with an English institute. Afternoon tea, and fh® Xational Anthem conciuded a most entertaining afternoon.
