CARRIAGE TO ENGLAND 35 PER CENT. REDUCTION From Our Oven Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. Reductions in the freight on meat from New Zealand to England were announced yesterday afternoon by J. W. Swift and Company, agents for the Commonwealth Line. For September and October shipments the rate will be 25s a ton net weight, and for November 27s 6d. The rate up to the present has been 40s a ton, with 10 per cent, added. The new rates will be in force on all steamers of the overseas companies trading regularly between England and New Zealand.
