N.Z. UNION’S LETTER
AUCKLAND RUGBY UNION DEFERS CONSIDERATION A letter tvas received from the Kew Zealand Rugby Union by the Management Committee of the Auckland Union last evening asking whether Auckland was playing under different rules from those played under by the Kew Zealand Union. The letter further stated that, if that were so, it was desired to know what rules were different from those in the Ketv Zealand Union’s handbook' and under what authority they were being played. Consideration of the letter was deferred for a week, Mr. A. Belcher, who presided, pointing out that there could be no action taken until the chairman of the committee, Mr. H. Frost, had recovered from his indisposition and was again able to take his place at committee meetings.
