NEW ZEALAND TO SIGN
DECISION ON OPTIONAL CLAUSE GENEVA ANNOUNCEMENT (Australian and 2C.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. GENEVA, Wed. Mr. Patrick McGiliigan, Irish Minister of Internal Affairs, announced that the signing of the optional clause on behalf of the Free State Government is expected. The delegates from New Zealand and South Africa announced today their intention of signing the clause. Mr. C. W. C. Marr (Australia) addressed tile Assembly. He said he had hoped to announce that Australia would sign, but iu the circumstances which had arisen during the last 24 hours he could not at present make"a definite announcement on the subject.
