Carter, a farmer. Struck on the head bj' a lump of coal falling from a basket while he was engaged in bunkering the Maheno on August 2, John Henry William Sudfelt has been paid full compensation to date by the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd. Future compensation has been fixed at 60 per cent, of the total permanent incapacity. The sum of £122 has been fixed as compensation to be paid by Neary and Company to Alexander M. Anderson, a watersider, who fell and injured his back while engaged in unloading the Valacia at Queen’s Wharf on July 11 last year.
