BIBLE TEACHING SCHEME

APPROVAL AT HENDERSON The Henderson School Committee, at a meeting last, evening, Mr. W. Haythornthwaite, chairman, presiding decided to allow the Bible in Schools League the use of the school for 20 minutes on one morning of each week for religious instruction, provided a ballot of parents taken by the League proves favourable.

A representative of the Auckland Provincial Agricultural Education Committee will give a talk in the Henderson Town Hall on Saturday, September 21, on the proposed establishment of an agricultural high school to serve the area immediately north of Auckland. The recent school concert raised £3l 10s.
