YOUNG MAN ARRESTED

ECHO OF FORMER CASE Charged that on or about August 5 he wilfully attempted to defeat the course of justice by endeavouring to persuade women to give false evidence at the hearing of a charge against Jessie Morris, William Bobbett, a young married man, appeared before Mr. P. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. He had been arrested by DetectiveSergeant P. Doyle and Detective Sullivan. The charge against Morris vras one of unlawfully using an instrument. On the application of the police Bobbett was remanded until September 19 on bail of one surety of £IOO.
