Signor Paganeili, the Italian tenor who toured New Zealand as one of the Sistine Choir soloists, obtained leave in the Supreme Court to sue his wife for divorce by edict. The parties were married in Italy in 1912. During the tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1925 Signor Paganeili desired to accept an appointment in Wellington, hut had to decline it, his wife refusing to join him.
