BRIGHT DANCE PARTY
MRS. L. SHILSON ENTERTAINS
Mrs. L. Shilson was hostess at a very bright party at her residence in Shipherd’s Avenue, Epsom, on Saturday evening. Tho guests danced in the billiard room, which was banked with flowers and fern. Iceland poppies decorated the supper tables. Mrs. Shilson received in black satin charmeuse, and Miss Mary Shilson was in lilac ninon. Miss L. Chauvel wore black ring velvet and Miss J. Chauvel was in apricot georgette. Among the guests were;—Mrs. A. E. Moore, Mrs. W. P. Bloomfield, Mrs. W. McArthur. Mrs. M. Hogan-, Mrs. H. R. Burrett. Mrs. Chamberlain, Mrs. 11. Richards. Mrs. Owen, Miss M. Crum, Miss Rosemary McArthur, Miss Biccerton, Miss O. Gleeson. • A BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON SPRING FLOWERS LEND THEIR FRAGRANCE Miss Karo McGill was hostess at a very enjoyable little birthday luncheon last week, held in honour of Miss Gwen McMillan. Bowls of spring flowers decorated the table. Miss McGill was in a black morocain gown and Miss McMillan wore a smart beige jumper suit. Those present were:— Miss A McMillan, Miss N. Nardi, Miss Barbara Potter, Miss Stewart and Miss Phillips.
