Mr. and Mrs. W. Hodgson, of Sydney, and Mr. and Mrs. R. Smith, of Putaruru, are guests at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. R. Reid, of Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Dawson, of Christchurch, are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Mrs. L. Benjamin, who has been visiting Auckland as the guest of Mrs. Andrew Robertson, Green Dane, has returned to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. H. Beattie, of Christchurch, Miss Fielder and Miss Rutland, of Morrinsville, and Miss E. Curruth, of Whangarei, are at the Star Hotel. Madame Edith Baird, who has been acting as judge of the dancing sections at the Wellington competitions, which concluded on Saturday, has returned to Auckland. Miss Rima Fraer, of Christchurch, was a passenger from Honolulu by the Aorangi. She is the guest of Mrs. Airey, of Remuera, until her return South tomorrow. * • • The Victoria League will hold a Daffodil Dliy At Home in its rooms, Shortland Street, next Friday. There will be stalls for the sale of cakes, flowers, confectionery and produce, and an enjoyable musical programme will be presented in the evening. *■ * * Mr. and Mrs. J.
