BIG PROFITS IN COAL
PUKEMIRO COMPANY’S YEAR DIVIDEND OF 35 PER CENT. A net profit of* £51,580 is shown in the report and balance sheet of the Pukemiro Collieries, Dtd., for the year ended August 31, 1929. This, with the balance brought forward from last year, but allowing for the interim dividend, leaves £78,402 available for distribution. The directors recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 5s- a share, leaving a balance of £53,402 to be carried forward. The annual meeting of the company is scheduled for September 25.
