BUSINESS HOUSE RUGBY A surprise was caused in the fifth and final round of the Auckland Business Houses Rugby competition, played at the Domain yesterday afternoon, when the leading team, from Sargood. x un and Ewen. was defeated by the John Court representatives. Sargood. Son and Ewen are now level with. Milne and Choyce, and a Play-off will be staged on Thursday afternoon next. Following are the results of yesterday's games: John Court, Ltd.. (5. v. Sargood. Son and Ewen. 3. Knock and I-lill scored tries for the winners, while Solomon scored for the losers. Johnston converting. Ross and Glendining. -3. v. MacUy. Logan. 3. Tries for the winners were scored by Wales (2), Sands, Cammic-k and Navlor. Cammiek converted three and Wales two. Williams scored for Macky. Logan. Milne and Choyce, 13. v. Smith and Cuughey. 9. Hinton and Lucas scored tries for Milne and Choyce. Lucas kicking a penalty goal and Kemp converting two tries. Fraei and Hankin scored for the losers and Blakey kicked a penalty goal.
