BIG RUSSIAN FILM ' \ Alexander Wolkoff lias just cofljI pleted a series of scenes for the new big Ufatone production “The White Devil,” the manuscript of which is based on Tolstoi’s famous novel “Hadschi Murat.” Some EO members of the noted Russian ballet school of Mdme. Eduardowa and more than 800 extras were seen as generals, diplomats and members of the court of St 1 Petersburg in a most wonderful historic setting in these scenes. Tremendous decorations over OOtt in height were erected in the large studio presenting a true picture to the minutest detail of the .interior of the former Imperial Grand Opera of St. Petersburg* x . . ~ The centre of attraction m these | scenes was Ivan Mosjukine, who plays | I the leading part of Hadschi Murat, the j' i lender of the Caucasian insurrection, i Lil Dagover and Betty Amman will bo j 'seen in the leading female parts 'while , | Fritz Albert has been entrusted With j the part of ilie Tsax* _
