REDS’ DANCE STORMED
SYDNEY LARRIKINS FLING WOODEN BLOCKS THREE SENT TO HOSPITAL Reed. 9 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A Communists’ dance in Sydney was marked by violent scenes. A mob of larrikins tried to gain admission, but was prevented. The larrikins returned with wood blocks from a tramline, and commenced a bombardment. Three dancers were sent to hospital. One man probably has a fractured skull. The dance went on, the orchestra playing “A Precious Little Thing Called Love.”
