RED RAIN FALLS

MUDDY SHOWERS IN AUSTRALIA

SYDNEY, Sunday. Reports from all parts of New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and South Arustralia describe the fall of showers of dust-coloured rain, which damaged clothes and other, things. The atmosphere everywhere became so heavily charged with dust that it became necessary yesterday and today to use lights in the middle of the day.
