EXPLOSION AND FIRE
CHRISTCHURCH OUTBREAK HOUSE DESTROYED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. A four-roomed house at Hornby, owned by Mrs. S. B. Thomas, was destroyed by fire early this morning while temporarily unoccupied. Neighbours say they heard an explosion preceding the fire.
