Mrs. Guy Shaw, of Thames, is on a short visit to Auckland. * * • Mrs. Pilling (Parnell) is spending a few days at Morrinsville. Mrs. Keons, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. E. R. Strand, Morrinsville. Mrs. Ken. Iletherington, of Thames, is paying a visit to relatives in Christchurch. Mrs. L. Watkins, of Auckland, has taken up her residence in Morrinsville. The Misses Insull, of Auckland, are staying with Mrs. E. Seville, at Morrinsville. Mr. Dennis Barry, the English actorsinger, is at present the guest of Mrs. Alice Weston, Devonpo.rt. Miss Bernice Galbraith, of Hamilton, arrived by service car today to spend the week-end in Auckland. Mrs. Innis, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. Blennerhassett, of Thames, has returned to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. J. Clarkson, of Pukehana Avenue, Epsom, sailed by the Maheno for an extended tour of Australia. * * * Mrs. E. J. Clendon, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. H. A. Joyce, Orakei Road, has returned to Thames. Miss K. Phillips and Miss E. Bassett, who have been staying with Mrs. B. J. Roper, Morrinsville, have returned to Auckland. Mrs. Norman Thomas, of Auckland, has returned home after a stay in Hamilton with her mother, Mrs. A. H. Tompkins, Pembroke Street.
