TRIBUTE TO MR. CRAWFORD

RADIO-MUSICAL COMMITTEE

Reference to the loss suffered by the community by the death yesterday of Mr. James Dawson Crawford, of Williamson Avenue, Grey Lynn, was made at the meeting last evening of the IYA Musical and Dramatic Advisory Committee. At one time Mr. Crawford was a member of the committee as representative of the Orphans* Club Several speakers referred to Mr. Crawford’s enthusiasm and service in fostering wholesome entertainment. The committee passed a resolution of appreciation of that service and sympathy with the relatives, all present standing in silence.
