UNEMPLOYMENT REPORT

COMMITTEE SENDS IN FIRST SECTION ON GENERAL LINES Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Minister of Labour, Mr. W. A, Yeitch, announces that the committee appointed by the Government to in* vestigate the conditions of unemployment and to make recommendations has now so far completed its work as to be able to present to him today the first section of the report. The committee will continue its investigations and present further sectional reports as it finds itself in a position to do so. The first report is on general lines and contains only two definite recommendations. Further reports will all be in the nature of recommendations upon remedies to meet the various aspects of the problem.
