MUSICIANS TO CONFER
UNION AMALGAMATION MAY FOLLOW (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A conference of musicians to be held early in November will discuss the advent of the talking fiirn, according to a statement made yesterday by Mr. A. Tongue, secretary of the New Zealand Musicians’ Association. The conference will be attended by representatives of the musicians affected throughout the Dominion. Mr. Tongue also said that the meeting might result in an amalgamation of all the theatrical trade unions in one large union covering the whole country’.
