DISTRIBUTING £346
Following the usual custom, the Auckland Rugby Union is distributing the net gate of its Charity Day, which was College Day. The total sum is £346. and it is dividend among 21 of the City’s charitable organisations. Following is the list of donations, approved by the Management Committee of the union last evening: Women’s Hospital. Auxiliary Fund, £l6; Manurewa Orphanage, £l6; St. John Nursing Division, £l6; Grange Home. £l6; Flying Angel Mission, £l6; Auckland Sailors' Home, £10; Methodist Orphanage, £l6; Sister Hanna, £2O; Sister Esther, £2O; City Mission, £l6; St. Vincent de Paul, women. £l6; St. Vincent de Paul, men. £l6; Presbyterian Home. £l6; St. Mary’s Home, £l6; Takapuna Orphanage. £l6; Sisters of the Poor, £l6; Campbell Creche. £l6; Methodist .Orphanage, £l6; Children’s Home, Takapuna, £2O; Papatoetoe Orphanage, £l6; Door of Hope, £2O.
