SETTLEMENT OUT OF COURT The claim for £2,000 damages by Bruce Tudor against Ernest Louis Smith for failure to complete an agreement to lease the Wynyard Arms Hotel was settled out of the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon. The case, which was heard by Mr. Justice Herdman, proceeded only to the end of plaintiff’s claim, the action being settled privately in the afternoon. The terms were not announced.
