ARTILLERY BAND CONCERT
TOWN HALL THIS EVENING A grand variety concert in aid of the social fund of the Auckland Artillery Band will be tendered by Auckland’s leading artists in the Town Hall this evening. The artists will include Mrs. V. Penny, Miss D. Youd, Miss Nina Scott Messrs. Len Barnes, Ronald Muston! E. McKmght, Alan McElwain, Rex \ates and “The New Zealand Four.” The band will play a number of special selections. Harry Langdon has started production of his first all-talking comedy t® wla Rafter is directing. with Thelma Todd and Edgar Kennedy in the supporting cast. *
