AUCKLAND DRAWS (Special to THE BON) WELLINGTON, Today. In the Primary Schools Soccer tourney here yesterday, Auckland drew with Wellington, two goals all. From a lightning opening, the Wellington goalie conceded a corner, and the Auckland right w-tnger centred beautifully for deal to head into the net Fast midfield play followed a Wellington breakaway, and the inside right equalised. This was followed by another. minutes later. Misklcking and weakness lost Auckland several goals. From the restart, smart midfield play electrified the spectators. After a neat pass, the Auckland right winger beat three men before equalising. Fast midfield play occupied the rest of the time. Cleal, Auckland’s centre, kicked into the mouth of the open goal. Stevenson, Bowers. Allen and Riggans were outstanding for Auckland. Waikato, four, beat Manawatu, nil. Waikato was too heavy and wore down the small team, which kept them out for 40 minutes.
