OTAHUHU ORPHANS’ CLUB
There was a good attendance of members of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club at the fortnightly meeting, held in the Kingsford Hall on Tuesday evening. Bro. F. Scheland, vice-president, presided, and extended a cordial welcome to Bro. W. K. Francis, president. Bro. A. L. Anderson, secretary, and executive officers of the Papakura Orphans’ i Club. Bro. C. A. Osborne, secretary of the Onehunga Orphans’ Club, was also a visitor. An enjoyable programme was opened by the club’s orchestra, under the baton of Bro. Edwin Parker. Other contributors were Bro. C. Reader, song; the club’s male choir; Bro. Cecil Hardins, some illusion: Bro. W. Robson, song; Bros. Joseph and Hare, steel guitar duet; Bro. T. C. Seaton, song.
