COOL THIEF AT WORK

TOOK QUILT FROM HOUSE (From Our Own Correspondent) NEW PLYAIOUTH, Today. Walking into a store at Vogeltown on Monday, a young man asked if the occupants of a neighbouring house were away for the day. On being told that they were, he walked over to tlie house, and after looking into two of the rooms, w’ent off with a valuable quilt from a third. At the time, a member of the family was at the back of the house, but he heard nothing. The thief's footprints were later found at the foot of each of the window's through which he had looked.
