RESCUED FROM DRAIN
INTOXICATED DRIVER FINED (Special to TDE SU2* > TE AROMA. Tuesday. A fine of £2O was imposed by Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., on Henry Louis Massey, engineer. Torehape, for being intoxicated while in charge of a motorcar. His licence was also cancelled until December 31, 1930. Sergeant Powell stated that Massey and a friend left an hotel at 2.20 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, and after going eight miles collided violently with a stationary car. When accused and his car were pulled out of a drain his rescuers declared Mm t•-» be iutovUated.
