Popularity of British motor-cycles | in Australia is clearly shown by the i latest official import statistics, which j disclose that, of the 14,246 motorj cycles imported during the year ended I June 30. 1929, from all sources. BritI ain supplied no fewer than 11,354, equivalent to 80 per cent. During the previous year the imports totalled 10.522, Britain's share of the trade being 5.230 machines, or 76 per cent. No better example could be afforded of the enterprise which is being displayed by British motor manufacturers in catering for the special requirements of the Australian market.
