ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL MEETING (From Our Oxen Correspondent) TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. That the question of holding a fourday exhibition next year be acceded to was a decision made at the annual meeting of the Taumarunui and Districts Winter Show Association, so great has been the expansion of support. The financial position as shown by the report and balance-sheet was very sound, and the meeting accepted both without question. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. F. Millar and R. Craig; general committee, Mesdames R, Stevenson, F. E. Cox, H. M. Fraser, C. Ryan, A. W. King, T. Broad, A. W. Collett, S. Christmas, W. D. Williamson, G. R. Millar, A. E. Congdon, Jos. McLeod, Messrs. A. W. Richter, J. R. Powell, A. W. Collett, P. Hewitt, F. J. Redfern, R. Patterson, W. Pywell, W. Curtis, C. R. Hill, L. A. Baker, T. Broad, E. Bastion, Edwin King, A. R. Smith, A. T. Driffil, H. Beale (sen.), H. Beale (jun.), A. E. Congdon, W. Meads and H. Street; executive committee, Mrs. A. W. Collett, Messrs. D. McNab. A. W.' King, G. R. Millar; treasurer. Mr. A. J. Langmuir; organiser, Mr. G. R. Miller; auditor, Mr. W. Hughessecretary, Mr. C. A. Stevenson. A committee consisting of the president., secretary and Messrs. McNab, Patterson and King was set up to investigate the question of erecting show buildings at an estimated cost of £2,000, and the obtaining of a lease of suitable ground from the Domain Board. Messrs. McLeod, Munro. Redfern and H. Street were appointed a sub-com-mittee to consider the establishment of wool classes for the coming season.
