British Official 'Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. The total numlj?r of unemployed in Britain on August 12 was 1,169,300. This was 15,171 more than a fortnight before and 144,559 less than a year before. The total was exclusive of the persons rendered idle by the dispute in the cotton, industry.
