“Shell’’ Social Club’s Bright Evening The Click Clack Cabaret presented a charming setting on Monday evening, when the Shell Company of New Zealand, Ltd., entertained a large number of guests. Mr. Clyde Howley's orchestra was in attendance. Among those present were: M**s. C. Best, who wore pastel pink hand embroidered georgette: Mrs. A. F. Castle, gold lame and brocaded velvet; Airs. R. Bailey, black embossed georgette, pink shoulder posy; Mrs. Maxwell, black ring velvet: Mrs. Anthony, black georgette; Mrs. Ross, cameo pink embossed georgette and deep silver lace hem; Mrs. Henderson, black velvet, silver scarf. Airs. -Wright, who chose emerald geovgette; Mrs. Xisbet, canary beaded georgette; Mrs. Hepburn, pastel blue crepe de chine; Airs. Sparkes, puce beaded georgette: Miss M. Stewart, black taffeta, rose-embroidered hem; Miss TT. Pearce, turquoise taffeta; Miss Al. Bassett, mauve taffeta; Aliss E, Lucas, eau de nil georgette and silver lace; Aliss J. Alillar, mandarin ring velvet and tiered lame skirt; Aliss Af. Rae, sunset pink taffeta; Aliss X. Dowden, leaf green georgette, uneven hemline, and silver lace. Aliss AT. Cooper, who had on citronne crepe de chine and shower posy; Aliss J. Carr, tinsel brocade and frilled skirt; Aliss Joan Maxwell, forest green taffeta and frilled net; Aliss E. White, gold embroidered black net over gold lame, with cyclamen flowers; Aliss Lila Smith, green georgette, ankle length; Aliss Leah Buddie, pastel pink georgette: Aliss N. Ellerington, coral pink crepe"de chine; Aliss Alice Bailey, sea green chenille georgette; Aliss Ellen Bailey', ciel blue and silver. Aliss W. Gedye, wearing apple green beaded georgette; Aliss R. Bright, black crepe de chine; Aliss H. Bright, anklelength ivory lace; Aliss Af. Seymour, ivory georgette, frilled skirt; Aliss X. Coutts, apricot taffeta; Aliss E.
