EN ROUTE TO ENGLAND
FAREWELL PARTY FOR MRS. J. C. ALLEN Mrs. J. C. Allen, who has been the guest of honour at many farewell parties, and her son left Morrinsville on Alpnday evening to join the Ruahine en route for England. Her son will go to Cambridge University and Mrs. Allen will be absent for about six months. Prior to leaving Morrinsville Mrs. Allen was entertained at a farewell afternoon by the Girl Guide committee and Guide officers. Mrs. C. M. Gummer was hostess.
