WATCH-AND-CHAIN THEFT

ACCUSED PLEADS GUILTY Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. In the Supreme Court today, John Henry Percival Hagarty pleaded guilty to the theft from David Hamilton Weir Currie of a watch and chain, valued at £l7 10s. The actual charge was robbery with violence, but this Hagarty denied. The Crown Prosecutor accepted the plea, and accused was remanded for sentence.
