“THE WOMAN FROM LUNA” Unwelcome kisses start the regeneration of a pretty girl, cause her t remove herself from a sordid life anc eventually find happiness. That is the theme of the story, “The Woman from Luna,” Fox Film, featuring Mary Astor, Robert Armstrong Roy D’Arcy, and based on the stage play, “From Hell Came a Lady.’” Miss Astor portrays Dee Renani eking out a livelihood by day as “come on” at a seashore amuseimr park show called “Hell.” Her employer, the barker, tells men they may kiss her if they catch her inside the show. One day a brut, fellow receives the reward, disgustir.c the girl. She realises that her lift lacks many things and, as she site gazing off shore, a lighthouse suggest; all the things she has come to desire —cleanliness , security and solltudThen she meets Jim Oakley, and the love drama is carried on to its term-’ climax. . . "Beggars of Life.” the second feature, is a dramatic tale of tramps SB murder starring Louise Broosr. Richard Arlen and Wallace Beery.
