MAN’S SUDDEN COLLAPSE

ATTACK OF HEART FAILURE

Collapsing suddenly amid the crowd on the Eden Park embankment on Saturday afternoon, Edwin King was found to be dead

before being taken to the St. John Ambulance room. jyjß. KING was a married man, aged

63, a farmer, of Mangere. He was carried from the embankment across the field by four spectators and a brigade officer. Dr. Pettit attended to the man, and it is believed that the cause of death was heart failure. ■ The body was removed to the morgue.

According to Harold Joseph Fox, who was with Mr. King, the man fell to the ground without making a sound.
