BUSH WANDERER CAUGHT
IN COURT ON THEFT CHARGE REMANDED FOR OBSERVATION (From Our Owt. Correspondent) NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Captured after running wild in the bush country behind Okoke for the last three weeks, Harold Cook, aged 30, appeared in the New Plymouth Police Court yesterday, charged with the theft of a yearling heifer by killing it with intent to steal the carcase, and with the theft of a pair of boots from F. Jones. On the application of the police he was remanded in custody until Wednesday for medical observation.
