ADVICE FROM THE “GODS” FROWNED ON TOO MUCH “RASPBERRY” Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Larrikinism has been in evidence in Wellington at Sunday evening concerts and today an example was made of a young man picked out in the “gods” who had been guilty of what is known as “administering the raspberry.” It was mentioned that on account of such conduct difficulty was being found in getting good artists to take part. The magistrate agreed to the suppression of the accused’s name, as he was only one of a number of offenders. A fine of £3, however, was imposed. A disturbance at a theatre at Miramar led to a youth from that district also coming before the Bench. His name was suppressed, the magistrate remarking he would take counsel’s word that accused had learned his lesson. No fine was imposed, but accused was ordered to pay 5s toward the costs.
