Dacre in Form

Under the two years’ residential qualification, it will not be till next season that Ces Dacre can take his place in the Gloucestershire eleven in English county cricket. In the meantime, the brilliant Aucklander has been keeping his eye in in Bristol club matches. In addition to that, he is able to play in outside matches, such as those against the South Africans, the Varsities and other important fixtures. According to advice, received in Auckland, Ces has been in great form lately. JTc has scored so far 3.030 runs for 3 6 innings, an average of 64 runs an innings. For the Bohemians in club cricket he has knocked up some tall scores, having compiled 730 runs for eight innings, being four times not out. His latest scores when the last English mail left were:—l67 not out, 160 not out, 144 not out, 90 and 59.
