TOMORROW’S FIELDS AT THE TROTS ACCEPTANCES POSTED The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s National carnival will reach finality tomorrow, when another splendid day’s sport is assured. The chief event is the National Handicap, in which a fine field of high-class pacers are engaged and the heat should result in a stirring contest. The Farewell Handicap is another event that will raise the enthusiasm of the public, the field containing many of the Dominion’s real speed merchants. “Abaydos” suggests that the following will be well supported in their respective engagements: Midwinter Handicap.— Koro Peter and Herbilwyn. Lightning Handicap.-— Chef and Bessie Logan. National Handicap.— Padlock, Kingcraft or Terence Dillon. Federal Handicap.— Carmel and Zenith. Heatlicote Handicap.— Harvest Child and Glenelg. Addington Handicap.— Bingen Starr and Western Voyage. Islington Handicap.—Great Delight and Curfew Boy. Farewell Handicap.— Jean McElwyn and Native Prince.
