It was decided to donate £1 Is to the local branch of the \Vaiuku Plunket Socnety. Five tenders were recclve‘d tor the digging and filling of trenches for the water mains from bore site in Victoria. Avenue to the north end of Colombo Road and. four tenders for similar work in Kitr‘hener Road. Messrs. R. G. Holmes and Company‘s tender of 125 6d a. chain for both contracts “‘3; accepted. '
