CANTERBURY PROTESTS _ AGAINST DIVERSION “GROSS BREACH OF TRUST” Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The Canterbury Automobile Association passed the following resolution last evening:— ‘ “That the action of Cabinet in the direction of the diversion of a portion of the motor taxation for the general purposes of the Dominion would be a gross breach of trust, and that this body pledges itself to oppose it by all means in its power, and urges its members to do likewise.”
