After attending :1 function at the Officers' Club in honour of officers of the French cruiser, Charles Stanley Clark was found in his car asleep in an intoxicated condition. and with another man also under the influence of liquor. He was arrested and it was explained in court today that Clark had realised he was not in a fit condition to drive and had therefore decided to rest in the car. but had fallen asleep. The magistrate said he thought a fine would meet the case and imposed one of: £2O. , . .
