RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“SHOW PEOPLE” “Show People/’ the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer picture which is now’ at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) is the magic story of Hollywood, with all the genius of showmanship at its best, with laughs, heart-stirring romance, and an unprecedentedly brilliant cast headed by the co-stars, We - liam Haines and Marion Davies. King Vidor used five different motion picture companies in one day’s direction of this picture, and if the audiences look closely they will see scenes from “Telling the World,” “Our Dancing Daughters,” and “Shadows of the Night” as they are being made. “Show’ People” is the funniest and most brilliant dual-star production ever brought to the screen, and, in addition to the stars, such famous actors and actresses at Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks. William S. Hart, Rod La Rocque, Leatrice Jay, Norma Talmadge, Mae Murray, and many others are seen in the picture. The second attraction at both theatres is an hilarious Hoot Gibson Western story, entitled “High Society.”
