INDOOR BOWLING
INAUGURATED AT NORTHCOTE Indoor bowling was successfully inaugurater at Northcote in the Parish Hall on Saturday afternoon. Members of the Waitemata Bowling Club were successfully entertained by the Birkenhead and Northcote United Friendly fcfeeieties’ Indoor Bowling Association, and a series of contests were arranged on six rinks provided by the indoor bowlers. Prior to the games. Mr. E. JI. tSewart, president of the association, briefly tendered on behalf of the members their thanks to the Waitemata bowlesr for their recent game. Mr. H. Cadness, lwesident of the Waitemata Bowling Club, suitably responded. Light refreshments were supplied in the supper room.
