NORTHCOTE WEDDING
DAINTY BRIDE IN IVORY SATIN KELLY—BRUNTON A pretty and interesting wedding was celebrated in the Northcote Presbyterian Church, when Harriett Ella, fourth daughter' of Mrs. E. Brunton and the late Mr. J. W. Brunton, of Gladstone Road, Northcote, was married to Desmond George, youngest son of Mrs. A. Kelly and the late Mr. F. Kelly, of Birkenhead. The Rev. F. A. Thompson officiated. The church had been decorated hy friends of the couple, and an arch of greenery was festooned around the altar. Mr. Keith Stewart presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her mother, was daintily frocked in ivory satin made on period lines, with a handsome tulle veil attached to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of pale pink sweet peas and roses. Miss F.- Brunton, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, wearing a peach pink georgette frock mounted on crepe de chine, and a headdress of tulle. Her bouquet was in orchid tones. Mr. Lewis Kelly, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony the reception was held at the residence of the bride’s mother. The tables were artistically decorated with white spring flowers. Mrs. Brunton received her guests in a gown of black charmeline, relieved with fawn.' and hat to match. Mrs. Kelly, senr., wore black silk with touches of fur, and a black hat. Nlrs. L. Kelly had on a biscuit coloured costume, relieved with pastel green, and hat to tone. The bride’s travelling dress was beige marocain with hat and coat to correspond. The guests included the bride's sisters, Mrs. ri. Stretton, Mrs. C. Crum and Mrs. N. Foley, Miss M. Kelly, Airs. Edgar Brunton. Airs. E. W. Hillsdon Hutton, Mrs, W. Harvey-Burdett, Mrs. G. Scholium, Mrs. W. A. Price, Airs. Lewes, Mrs. H. A. Taylor, Mrs. Thompson, Miss Margaret Crum. Mrs. J. Denby, Miss R.
